I
graduated from the Queen's College, Glasgow in 1992 and  worked in the NHS for 5 years before taking a post in Private Practice for 7 years prior to opening my own clinic in 2005.

I have a special interest in persisting pain after developing Inflammatory Arthritis myself and I am always investigating and learning new ways to help people manage their condition.

My therapeutic approach has developed throughout the years to become an amalgamation of all the learning and courses I have attended.  I am constantly  developing a greater understanding of the science behind the holistic MindBody Approach that is required to help us manage ourselves in today's often frantic and stressful world.

Manual Therapy Techniques I have learnt include:
All aspects of Physiotherapy,  Trigger point Therapy, Cransiosacral Therapy, Myofascial and Visceral Release Therapy, Positional Release Therapy, Adapted Mechanical Link Therapy , Muscle Energy Techniques, KCR levels 1-4, Restorative Movement, Acupuncture and Acupressure, Laughter Yoga, RAPID NFR - Neurofascial reset

which are used alongside the constantly updating information of Pain Science Education including learnings with :
Sirpa Training, PPD - Psychological Disorders Association - Introductory Course, NOI - Neuro Orthopaedic Institute - Explain Pain and Graded Motor Imagery

I have been  able to blend my knowledge and skills into an Intuitive Integrated Manual Therapy Technique (IIMTT) which is unique and individualised to you and your body.

I have been  married to Bob for 30 years and have 3 grown up and flown the coop children. Maybe I'll have time to find some hobbies now.
