What happens at my first appointment?During your first visit you will be expected to complete an assessment form so that the therapist can gather as much relevant information about you as possible. Your therapist will then discuss the content of your assessment form and with your consent undertake a physical assessment. Together you will discuss the findings and the planned management of your injury /condition and if deemed necessary, your treatment will begin during this session. Following your treatment exercises may be issued and further treatment sessions may be required. The therapist will discuss this with you.
-
What will I wear to my appointment? Please wear, or bring, loose comfortable clothing. Please bear in mind you may need to undress down to your underwear as the therapist may need to see and feel what is happening in your body and undertake appropriate treatment techniques. You may wear shorts that allow movement if that would make you feel more comfortable.
-
